These rings make an excellent tea time snack.
Ingredients:
1 cup- Riceflour
3 tsps- Moong Dal
1 tsp- Cumin Seeds
1 1/2 tsp- Chilly Powder
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
2 tsp Ghee (Optional)
Preparation Time & Cooking Time:
Preparation Time: 20 min
Cooking Time: 15min
Procedure:
Step 1: Soak moong dal in water for 15min.
Step 2: Take a pan with water, add chilly powder, cumin seeds, salt and ghee. Let it come to the boiling point.
Step 3: Using ladle, without forming lumps mix the rice flour in the water. Keep it aside for 10- 15 minutes.
Step 4: Apply oil to the surface and your hand, take a small size dough and roll it into a and make it into the ring shape.
Step 5: Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, fry the rings at the high flame for 3 sec and then reduce the flame. Leave it until it turns brown in color

- Initially flame should be at high flame for few seconds and after that rings should be fried at low flame.
