Flavored Juices at Home

Thirsty time ???? Sometimes only water may not help to regain  your energy , infused water is one of the  easiest  and natural way which  is more nutritious , healthy  & refreshes  you at the same time .

Simply select any fresh fruit, herbs or spices you like to add to turn plain water into delicious flavored water  (except banana as it may not aid for the preparation)  .

You can pretty much come up with your own recipes and play around the ingredients to quench your thirst.

Watermelon Mint:

Water melon cubes 1 cup
Mint 1/4 cup fresh leaves
pepper powder (optional)

Pineapple & Orange with Ginger:

Lime 1/2 sliced
Pineapple cubes 1 cup
Ginger 1 table spoon

You will need:::

1-quart jars
Water
Wooden Spoon / Stomper

Optional

Agave or another sweetener (added in  small quantities )
Pepper Powder
Cinnamon

Procedure :
I have prepared all these combinations and showing you the first combination (Mosambi &ginger water ,I have added a pinch of pepper powder too )

  • Choose which recipe you're making

  • Place the fruit, herbs, and/or spices in the bottom of one of the glass jars / a steel vessel , and muddle with a wooden spoon. (That basically means mash up the fruit in the bottom of the jar to release some of the flavor-filled juices.)

  • Fill the jar with water and give it a taste. (You can also fill the jar with seltzer water for a fizzy treat.) If you'd like something a bit sweeter, try adding some agave (and mix until dissolved).

  • Enjoy as-is or refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor. (i have transferred this into a glass jar and refrigerated over night )

This has got beautiful flavor of mosambi with less sugar in it and a bright yellow color making it more tempting

Note:
  • Don't end up making your recipe complicated and don't end up adding more sweetener as this water tastes best with less sweet
