Fish Salan

Lip Smacking is the word given to this dish by my friends.An easy fish dish for spice lovers.

                                                                                                                                                                    




Ingredients:
4 slices fish (i used pompano.you can use any fish which you like)  
1 cup ripe tomato paste

2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 large finely chopped onion
pinch turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste 

For Marination:
1 tbs saunth 
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp fennel powder
1/2 tbs canola oil
1/2 tsp salt

Calories: 180




Initial Procedure:
Step 1:Marinate fish pieces with fennel powder, saunth, turmeric powder, oil and salt for 20minutes. 

Method:
Step 1:Heat ghee in a pan and add ginger-garlic paste.Saute it in a very low flame.
Step 2:Add onions paste and  fry them well.
Step 3:Add red chilli powder and tomato puree. Saute for sometime.
Step 4: Add the marinated fish pieces,little water and garam masala.
Step 5: Cook it for some time and add black pepper powder and stir gently.
Step 6:Add a pinch of salt.Becareful while adding salt because we already used for marination.
Step 7:Saute for some time and serve hot.
