Innovative Decor

Welcome to the Interior Decor...!!
Interior decoration is beyond explanation. It is something that comforts eyes by creating a pleasant ambiance in an artistic way. This art of decorating varies from person to person according to their taste.
Here we put forth some of our ideas to guide your home decor which may help to improvise the look of your house ,which looks the best to the price range, hope this may help, for those who strive to change the appearance of their house.

So let us start with the do's and don't list that gives us a proper intro and suggestions about the general mistakes we usually make while decorating .
Let us just have a briefing about how not to decorate.
  •  Don't be carried away by style .Choose comfort beside style .Think twice before buying furniture like "Sofas " or "Couches" as they not only reflect your taste but also expensive , so be wise while selecting furniture .
  • Do not stick yourself to some theme .Try to decorate contemporary .Even sticking to one particular theme is not advised as it is expensive and make you feel bored after a while .
  •   Do not rely completely on overhead lighting .Lights play a vital role in decoration . Lighting enriches the beauty of a room. Add lightning to the room by some extra lamps .So hang some lamps from roof and lit few candles or use lamp posts what ever you like but use the mix and match to give elegance to your room.
  • Do not use a floating rug that doesn't fit your furniture and try to elevate the rug area rather than congesting it with the furniture .Make sure that the total furniture area is covered with the rug.

  • Don't select your wall paint before buying furniture, make sure it goes well with your furniture as there are many shades available in market.

  •   Don't hang or place too many photo frames in single room . Organize them and display just a few of them at a time so that you and the people who look will not be bored .You can frame family generations photos to attract your guests instead of arranging too many frames at a time .
  • Don't hang too many wall arts or your collections , otherwise ; your house may look like museum or gallery , so rotate your collection as often as possible and give a pretty new look .
  •  Don't ignore the foyer ,it actually adds beauty and will be more beautiful if you hang some beautiful art or painting or a large mirror.

  • Don't leave undressed cords they usually give a very clumsy look ,so try covering them with a cover that matches the wall.

  • Unsightly clutter and disorganization not only contributes to a stressful life but also ruins the entire look of a space. Invest in stylish storage baskets on a bookcase or shelf to keep small objects in their proper spot, or add an armories for extra hidden storage.
  • Don't opt for furniture that doesn't fit in your room, so try to have a floor plan before buying the furniture to avoid making a mistake.
  •   Don't hang the artwork too high, and remember if you have a lot of wall space instead of confining yourself to one large frame opt for small frames that make a perfect set and fill the area more elegantly, its up to you about the pattern to hang them ,you can set as vertical chain or a horizontal or a cross according to the space availability.
  • Don't push your furniture always to the walls. Sometimes the backs of furniture are beautiful, and a sofa with a console table behind it is a great place for a gorgeous display. Make it communal and create a focal point, which will enlarge the space.

  • Don't ignore window curtains ,besides paint, window treatments are the easiest and least expensive way to change the look of a room. A good rule of thumb is to hang curtains two inches above the frame of the window. If you have high ceilings, hang them all the way up to the ceiling to make the room seem bigger. For a quick and simple look, add a small, linen Roman shade to block light and add an extra element to the space.
  • Don't try to decorate your room with some fake flowers rather opt for fresh flowers which fills the room with fragrance and liveliness. These fake flowers gather dust and don't bring life into your home like real flowers. Fresh flowers are expensive, but there are other things you can do instead of buying them all the time. Put lemons or other fruit in a bowl for a punch of color. Or, use some dried natural material like curly willow or bamboo stalks for a fresh look.

  •  Don't pile up accent pillows they certainly improve the look of your room but if there is some hinder being able to sit on a couch or lie comfortably on a bed then they are too many of them causing inconvenience.
  •  Don't clutter the room if it is more like a box ,try to hang a large mirror which not only reflects the light but also make the the room look big than it usually looks ,so try to hang a large mirror behind your furniture with virtually creates a lot of space than it truly has ,or hang it across the room so that you will have a larger space due to reflection,or just hang it across a real window which reflects light and even looks scenic .
Bedroom Decorating Ideas-LAMP:
  •    Incorporate Prints on Accent Pieces: Prints aren’t reserved for the bed covers. They’re just as arresting when set on a modern-shaped lampshade.

  •  Introduce Pops of Color:If you want color without an all-out commitment, inject hits of it with your art and accessories on the lamp.

  • Add Warmth With Neutrals:That idea works just as well with neutrals. Here, soft lighting overhead and a clip-on task lamp add to the sense of warm comfort.

  • Work the Walls: Nightstands and adjustable lamps affixed to walls smartly save space in a small room.

Showcase Your Collection:
When your fireplace goes unlit, use it to display a collection of vases or other objects. Gather similar pieces, staying in a simple palette, in a variety of heights and shapes.
  Pile of Pillows:
One pair of pillows always looks skimpy. Use two pairs, in contrasting patterns, colors, and textures.

Paint your wall by yourself:
Here is the great idea to paint your wall by yourself without any effort or consulting anyone :

Canvases:
One way to keep your walls looking simple and beautiful is to wrap a plain canvas in tape, criss-crossing the lines for added depth. Then, pick any color paint you want and slather the canvas in it. Once the panel is dry, remove the tape and revel in your mod mastery. This idea goes in a very low budget and the output of it could not be imaginable.
