Malai Prawn Curry

This prawn curry looks scrumptious with coconut milk,yogurt and Indian spices.
                                               
                                                                            
Ingredients:
2 Lbs prawns
1 cup coconut milk
1 large chopped onion
1 cinnamon sticks
3 cloves
Few bay leaves
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
2 tsp Red chilly powder
1 tbsp Cumin Powder
1 cup cooking oil
2 tbsp yogurt
Salt to taste

Method:
Step 1: Take a bowl with prawns( shelled,de-veined and cleaned),chilly powder,turmeric powder.Mix this well and marinate for 30min.

Step 1:Take a pan with oil and fry the prawns well.Remove the prawns from the pan and keep aside.
Step 2:In the same pan put some oil and add all the garam masalas and bay leaves and saute them.
Step 3:Add the chopped onion and fry them until they turn brown.
Step 4:Now you can add red chilly powder and cumin powder.Saute them well.
Step 5:Add the fried prawns,yogurt and coconut milk and salt.
Step 6:Cover the pan with the lid and simmer for 10min
Step 7:Let the prawns cook well.
Step 8:Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

       Instead of oil you can also use ghee for additional taste.
