Ardha Chandrasana:(Half Moon Pose)
Ardha' means half and 'chandra' is moon. This asana develops balance and makes the mind more focused.This is a Standing Pose that mainly targets on legs, buttocks, and hips.
Procedure:
1.Stand in Trikonasana.
2.Soften the right knee and bring the left hand to your hip.
3.Slowly bring your right hand to the floor in front of the right foot.
4. Straighten the right leg while raising the left leg.
5.Raise your left hand.
6. Feel your weight on the right leg.
7. When you feel balanced on the right leg, reach the left arm up toward the ceiling, opening the chest and making a straight line with the right and left arms.
8. Finally,turn your head upto the ceiling.
9.Be in this position for 10min
10.Slowly come to the normal position.

1.Strengthens the ankles and thighs.
2.Stretches the hamstrings.
3.Improves balance and core strength.
