Chicken Penne Arabbiata

This is a very authentic Italian dish and very delicious dish with spicy tomato sauce,tender chicken chunks and aromatic herbs with low calories.

1 cup tomato puree
1/2 cup onion-grated
1/2 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp red chillypowder
2 tbsp Ajwain leaves-chopped or 1 tep dried origano leaves
2 tbsp basil leaves-chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
120 gm penne pasta,boiled
1/2 cup chicken(organic)-cooked and diced  
1/2tbsp olives-halved
1/4 grated cheese 

Cooking Time:
30 minutes 

As low as 280 calories in 1 cup cooked.

Step 1: Boil pasta with some salt until they become tender (it usually takes 8 to 10 min ) after they become tender drain the water and let sit for a while till the sauce is done.
Step 2:Chop onions and garlic cloves . Heat oil and saute the onions and garlic till slightly change color.
Step 3: Add the tomato puree , bring to a boil then add salt, sugar, chilly powder, oregano or Ajwain leaves and basil , simmer for a couple of minutes, then take it off the stove.
Step 4:Mix the chicken chunks , olives and Pasta.
Step 5: Top with the cheese(organic) (or mix in if so desired).
