Irregular Periods ?????? Here Are Some Home Remedies

Have got irregular periods? This may hinder your family planning and even make you more sensitive with oscillating moods . When this delay persists over time and become a routine for 4 to 5 days that may not be issue but if this becomes more irregular and the delay period increases that must be considered as a major issue.
In many cases  irregularities can treated with simple tips ,  following a healthy life style and by some home remedies , if it isn't, consulting and seeking an advise from doctor is recommended .


Causes:
  • Leading an unhealthy life style 
  • Too much of exercise
  • Crash or Lean Diets
  • Stressed mind without proper and adequate sleep
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Using contraceptive pills or some Prescribed drugs
  • Problems in reproductive system
  • Some chronic diseases may also cause this  
  • Thyroid problem
A proper knowledge is necessary when taking / following any  remedies , so first sort out what is the root cause for your problem and then take some these remedies .

Home Remedies:

Aloe Vera  Juice: Consume about a glass of fresh aloe vera juice with empty stomach everyday . You can give a kick start by taking half a glass in the early morning and the next at nights or evenings according to your convenience . This helps to regulate irregular periods . 

 

Papaya: Papaya (raw/ripe) is said to be very effective to deal with irregular periods . So consume about a bowl of papaya pieces as a salad . The unripe papaya has a quality that can control the contractions of the muscle fibers of the uterus and is beneficial for inducing proper menstrual flow. Papaya is also found helpful in young unmarried girls when menstruation ceases due to stress or fright.




Sesame seeds: Sesame seeds are even one of the best choice to eradicate this problem .
Sesame seeds help in alleviating menstrual problems. Half a teaspoon sesame seed powder is taken with hot water twice a day, acts well in reducing spasmodic pain during menstruation in young, unmarried anemic girls. If regularly used two days prior to the expected periods, it can cure scanty menstruation. A warm hip bath containing a handful of crushed sesame seeds is helpful.
 

Ginger:
Ginger is highly effective home remedy for menstrual disorders. A piece of fresh ginger should be ground and boiled in a cup of water for a few minutes. This infusion, can be sweetened with sugar and taken thrice daily after meals.




 

Coriander Seeds:
Boil 1 teaspoonful of coriander seeds in 2 cups of water till it is reduced to 1 cup. Add sugar to taste and drink. Repeat 2 or 3 times a day. In the treatment of excessive menstruation, 6 grams of coriander seeds should be boiled in half a liter of water and the potion should be taken with sugar candy. 


Gooseberries: Regular intake of amla or gooseberries helps for detoxifying your body and aids for the formation of new blood corpuscles , this in turn helps for  regulating menstrual problems , you need to try this for atleast two months for best results. 
Chew fresh and ripe fruits every day in the early morning, as this is a seasonal fruit you can make powder or juice  of amla when available and preserve it.


Fenugreek Seeds:  This is even one good option , soak a cup of fenugreek seeds over night and consume them early in the morning with empty stomach ,or by preparing a  solution of it by boiling those seeds by adding a cup of water and boiling until it reduces to 3/4 cup.
This helps to regulate the blood sugar levels , irregular periods , swelling in you uterus  and even cleans the uterus .


Horse gram:  Horse gram is even a good source of fiber and protein , it helps for maintaining the body temperatures . Drinking a soup made from these grams can help eradicate the problems


 

Ashoka  Bark:
The bark of the Ashoka tree is an effective remedy for excessive blood loss during the monthly period. The decoction of this herb is helpful in treating menstrual problems.
Other useful herbs are Chandan, Kamal Phool and Lodhra.
 

Diet :
All-fruit fasts for two or three consecutive days can be effective and should be observed at monthly intervals depending on the need. Avoid white flour, tinned and preserved items, strong spices and condiments and strong coffee and tea.
 


Yoga :
Ardha chakrasana, Bhujangasana and Sarvang Asana are beneficial in relieving menstrual disorders.




Other Remedies:

Consuming carrots , fennel seeds, radish seeds paste with buttermilk, bitter gourd juice, solution made from fig roots can give relief to the problem and help to regulate the menstrual  cycle.
