Capsicum Rice


A simple and tasty recipe with a perfect blend of spices . This is a perfect dish for a dinner party or a pot luck . 
                                                                       

Ingredients:
5-Red chillies
1/2-Cinnamon Stick
1tsp-Cumin seeds
1tsp-Black gram dal
1/2tsp-Mustard Seed
1tsp-Bengal gram
Curry leaves
2 tsp-Cashew nut
1 cup-Capsicum
2tsp-Dry Coconut
2tsp-Lemon Juice
Coriander leaves for garnishing
1 bowl cooked rice
Salt to taste

Procedure:
Step 1:Dry roast red chillies, cinnamon, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and black gram dal.Blend it and keep aside.

Step 2:Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds, Bengal gram, red chillies, curry leaves, cashew nuts, and peanuts one by one and fry till golden brown in color.

Step 3:Add capsicum and fry till soft.

Step 4:Add grated dry coconut and saute at medium flame.

Step 5:Now add rice and saute it for few minutes.

Step 6:Sprinkle lemon juice and powdered masala. Mix well.

Step 7:Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Step 8:Serve hot.


Note:
Present this recipe in a capsicum which gives different look in a party.
