Tempered Buttermilk

Buttermilk is one the healthiest foods (with low calories and fat content )  , a thirst quencher especially in summers , which  hydrates our body and one of the best  natural products.
Do you know there is a theory that if you drink a glass of buttermilk daily before going to bed you will gain a trimmed mid section with in 3 months without any exercises , that is one of the amazing effects of buttermilk besides providing healthy and radiant skin when used in various skin packs .

So, incorporate a habit of drinking buttermilk daily for a better health conscience . So, today I want to share one easy and tasty food item which can be prepared in minutes to make the buttermilk more interesting.

Ingredients:
Buttermilk 2 cups
Coriander leaves 1/ cup
Onions chopped finely 2 table spoons
Curry leaves few
Green chilies 2 (adjust according to taste )

For Tempering:
Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Fenugreek Seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds few
Anise seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilly 1 made into pieces
Turmeric 1/4 teaspoon
Oil 1 table spoon
Salt for taste 

Procedure:
Step 1: Take buttermilk into a bowl and churn it for good consistency and add water if its too thick in consistency .
Step 2: Heat  oil in a pan ass the tempering taken , when sputters add it to the buttermilk .
Step 3: Add salt chopped coriander leaves and raw onions (chopped finely) . Give it a good stir and serve with hot rice .
